System Administrator

Maintains and operates San Mateo Credit Union’s corporate Microsoft servers, which hosts Hewlett-Packard Servers with Microsoft operating system. • Manage and maintain Windows-based core services including Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Communications Server • Maintain networking equipment including Cisco layer 3 switches, Fortinet IPS, Websense web filter and, and Cisco PIX and ASA firewalls • Maintain core network services including DNS, DHCP, Plus Cisco and Nortel VoIP phone Systems • Support Windows XP and Windows 7 clients • Help Manage auxiliary services such a security and web services • Maintain remote and network services such as VPN, HTTPS, firewall, intrusion detection, and remote digital recovery. • Implement and maintain onsite and offsite backup systems • Implement and maintain systems monitoring software and logging. REQUIRED: • Strong understanding of TCP/IP network communications • Good grasp of AD, including FSMO roles, site design, and GC operations • 3+ years of Windows system administration experience • 1+ years of experience with enterprise networking equipment • 3+ years of experience supporting Windows desktop systems • Experience supporting VMware a plus • Experience with Blackberry Server a plus • Familiarity with x86 / x64 hardware required
